Rev. David Kim is Currently the President and Founder of the InterCultural Academy Institute(ICAI), and also the Intercultural Church & Ministries(ICM), both located in Toronto, Canada. In October of 1996, ICAI became a registered corporation of Ontario’s Government and is now operating as an international school, teaching English as a Second Language(ESL) in the downtown district of Toronto.

  Intercultural Church Ministries(ICM) was organized in August 2002 by Rev. David Kim. ICM is focused on evangelism, intercession prayer partnership and teaches spiritual leadership discipline for a broad international network that extends to Brazil, Canada, Korea, and Mexico. Every Sunday, ICM worship service is held at the ICAI’s facilities and ESL Bible study classes take place every Thursday to spiritually guide and reach out to young students from all nations.Toronto is a very peaceful and culturally diverse city building from the multiculturalism that stems from all nations in the 21centuery.

  Rev. David Kim is a Spiritual Leadership trainer, Educator and Evangelist of Spiritual conference and crusades for all denominations in the world. Especially, Rev. David Kim has an extraordinarily anointed spiritual ministry and he has been uniquely gifted by the Lord to bring miracle power into the lives of people. Despite this, David Kim has remained a humble caring servant of the Lord whose principal concern is to glorify his Lord Jesus Christ.

  Rev. David Kim was born in South Korea on the 18th of March, 1957. His parents were village farmers in the mountainous regions. He has 3 brothers and 4 sisters in his family. He grew up surrounded by a culture influenced by Confucianism and Buddhism but when he reached the age of 17, he converted his faith to Christianity and received Jesus Christ as his saviour and Lord, in his Christian mission high school. He was baptized when he was 18 years old (grade 12), and then he enrolled into the Seoul Theological University and Seminary. In 1980, he suffered and was constantly surrounded by political military power reason that he did against with seeking justice to corruption military power so that Korean military government made put Rev. Kim up in public mandatory military service three years. During that period David Kim has been practical Christian ministry experience as an assistance chaplain in Korean army military bases. After discharged of military service, David Kim has served TaePyung evangelical church in JeonJu city, Korea over two years. In May 1986, he moved to Toronto, Canadawith his wife Esther (Bok-Nim) and 17 month old daughter Carol (Min-Ju) for theological studies purpose. He had two more children, Grace Peace and Joseph (Tong-il) after he arrived in Canada.

  In February 1985 he graduated and earned B.A. in theology degree fromSeoul Theological University & Seminary in Buchun city, Korea.

  In May 1990 he earned Mater of Theological Studies program and fromMcMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and he has continuing study for Master of Divinity program.

  In December 1989, during his studies at McMaster University, he established a Korean ethnic church in Oakville, Ontario, called the Oakville Korean Evangelical Church. It later moved to the west end of Toronto in January of 1993, and renamed it the Galilee Evangelical Church. He has resigned his position as senior minister of a local Korean ethnic congregation since February 1996.
