Napoli has reached an agreement to sell their star striker Victor Osimhen to Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli. The deal, finalized on August 30, 2024, involves a transfer fee of €80 million (£67.2 million) plus add-ons.
According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the "club to club deal done for €75/80m total package."

Osimhen, who is 25 years old, is set to sign a lucrative four-year contract with Al Ahli. The contract will see him earning around £33.6 million (€40 million) per season, which translates to approximately £646,154 per week, tax-free.
This substantial salary package is designed to lure the Nigerian international to the Middle East, and it includes a release clause to facilitate any future moves.
Romano confirmed the details on X, stating, "BREAKING: Napoli reach total agreement with Al Ahli for Victor Osimhen! Club to club deal done for €75/80m total package, Al Ahli have already booked a medical. Four year contract worth €25/30m per season net to Osimhen + RELEASE clause. Final green light up to Victor."

The agreement marks a pivotal moment for both Napoli and Al Ahli, as the latter has also scheduled a medical examination for Osimhen.
Despite interest from Chelsea, who were prepared to offer Osimhen a contract of over £325,000 per week, Al Ahli's offer was significantly more attractive.
Chelsea had hoped to secure Osimhen on loan with an obligation to buy, but Al Ahli's decisive move has put them ahead in the race.
