Arsenal has taken decisive action against abusive and discriminatory behaviour by banning 24 supporters for various offences during the 2023/2024 season.

This move was confirmed in a statement on the club's website on August 14, 2024, just days before their Premier League opener against Wolves.

The club's statement read, "We can confirm that 24 supporters were banned for abusive and discriminatory behaviour during the 2023/24 season.

This includes 21 for abuse in the stadium, as well as three members for online abuse." The bans are part of Arsenal's broader commitment to ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all fans.

The infractions leading to these bans are diverse and severe. In-stadium offences include:

- Assault: 10 cases

- Tragedy chanting: 5 cases

- Offensive gestures: 2 cases

- Racism: 2 cases

- Homophobia: 1 case

- Sexual assault: 1 case

Online offences also contributed to the bans, with incidents of:

- Racism: 1 case

- Antisemitism: 1 case

- Sending abusive messages: 1 case

Each offender has been handed a ban of at least one year, with fourteen individuals receiving three-year bans. These sanctions mean that the offenders cannot attend any Arsenal matches, whether home or away, during the ban period.
