Big Brother Naija Season 9, winner Kellyrae has claimed that he transferred N55 million from his N60 million prize money to his wife, Kassia.

The couple, known collectively as DoubleKay during their time on the show, initially entered the competition as a pair before being separated by the organizers, which led to Kellyrae receiving management support that ultimately secured his victory.

During an Instagram live session, Kellyrae stated, “The [prize] money is N60 million, I’ve sent Kassia N55 million already to take care of herself.” However, this claim was immediately contested by Kassia, who questioned the veracity of the transfer, asking, “To which account [did you send the money]? Why are you lying? You’re lying to your fans after they voted for you.”
