BBNaija Star Phyna Allegdly Accuses Police of Stealing Her N3000 During Car Search

Reality TV star Josephine Ijeoma Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has accused a Nigerian police officer of stealing N3,000 during a routine car search.

The incident reportedly took place on Monday in Lagos. Phyna, who rose to fame through the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) show, took to her social media platform, X, to express her frustration and disappointment.

She wrote, “So today a policeman stole my 3k….. while they were searching my car today there was 3k in my pigeon hole…. and before I could blink I nor see my 3k again because I didn’t give it him.”

According to Phyna, the money went missing from her car's pigeonhole after the police conducted their search.

Despite her allegations, she did not identify the specific officer involved in the purported theft.

As of now, the Lagos State Police Command has yet to issue a response to these serious allegations.
