wles, is making strides towards finalizing her divorce from her second husband, Richard Lawson.
This development comes after a year of inactivity in the case. According to court documents obtained, Tina, 70, has submitted her final financial disclosures to Richard, 77. However, Richard has yet to confirm receipt of these documents.
Tina initially filed for divorce in July 2023, citing "irreconcilable differences" after eight years of marriage.
In her filing, she requested the court to terminate its ability to award spousal support to either party and asked for her last name to be legally restored to Knowles.
The couple tied the knot in 2015 on a yacht in Newport Beach, California, with a star-studded guest list that included Beyonce, Solange Knowles, Jay Z, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Samuel L. Jackson, and Richard's children, Bianca and Richard Lawson.
Reflecting on her wedding day, Tina said, "To walk down the aisle and see all my friends and family and to see my handsome man standin’ there, and to know that at 61 you can still find love and have a magical day like that it was really beautiful."
This marks Tina's second high-profile divorce. She was previously married to Mathew Knowles, the father of Beyonce and Solange, for three decades before their split in 2009, which was finalized in 2011.
