Vice President Kamala Harris was accused of wearing Bluetooth earrings to gain an unfair advantage against her opponent, Donald Trump.

The earrings in question closely resembled Harris's usual gold pearl loops, which critics alleged were actually smart audio devices engineered by the German start-up company, NOVA.

Malte Iversen, the managing director of Icebach Sound, the company behind the Bluetooth earrings, addressed the controversy with a mix of humor and ambiguity. "We do not know whether Mrs. Harris wore one of our products.

The resemblance is striking and while our product was not specifically developed for use at presidential debates, it is nonetheless suited for it," Iversen stated.

The debate, held on September 10, 2024, saw Harris and Trump engage in heated discussions on various issues, including economic policies and Trump's refusal to concede his 2020 election loss.

Amidst this intense backdrop, the accusation of Harris using wearable tech to cheat added another layer of drama. Iversen also took a light-hearted jab at Trump, offering to develop a male version of the Bluetooth earrings for his campaign. "To ensure a level playing field for both candidates, we are currently developing a male version and will soon be able to offer it to the Trump campaign.

The choice of color is a bit challenging though as orange does not go well with a lot of colors," he quipped.
