Rising Nigerian singer Boypee has firmly denied allegations that he and his collaborators, Brown Joel and Hyce, removed the video of their hit song "Ogechi Remix" featuring Davido due to the DMW boss's alleged greed.
The official video, which was a wedding song for Afrobeats superstar Davido and his wife Chioma, was recently taken down from YouTube over copyright issues.

The controversy began when an X user with the handle @Johnnyescoba posted a report credited to Boypee, claiming that the video was removed because Davido wanted to take all the royalties from the views.
The user wrote, "'We had to take down the Ogechi Remix video cuz Davido wanted to take all the royalties.'"
Boypee quickly refuted these claims in a social media post, stating, "You and who talk that one? To what profit eh guy? Wetin you wan use my downfall do?" He emphasized that the removal of the video had nothing to do with Davido's greed but was instead related to copyright issues.
