Grammy Award-winning rapper Cardi B has confirmed that her estranged husband, Offset, is the father of her third child.
This revelation comes amid their ongoing divorce proceedings, which have captured significant media attention.
Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, filed for divorce from Offset, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus, on July 31, 2024.
The couple, who married privately in September 2017, have had a tumultuous relationship marked by public reconciliations and split rumors.
Despite their efforts to make the marriage work, Cardi B cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their separation.
The 31-year-old rapper is seeking child support and primary custody of their children 6-year-old daughter Kulture and 2-year-old son Wave.
In her court documents, Cardi B also confirmed that Offset is the father of her unborn child. "With every ending comes a new beginning," she wrote in an Instagram post announcing her pregnancy. "I am so grateful to have shared this season with you." Offset, 32, has been at the center of cheating rumors throughout their marriage.
However, Cardi B's representative clarified that infidelity was not the primary reason for their split.
"They’ve grown apart.
That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else," the rep told Page Six.
This is not the first time the couple has faced marital issues. Cardi B initially filed for divorce in 2020 but reconciled shortly after.
They reignited split rumors in December 2023 when fans noticed they had unfollowed each other on social media. "You know when you just outgrow relationships," Cardi B said at the time.

Offset, a member of the hip-hop trio Migos, has three other children from previous relationships: sons Jordan, 14, Kody, 8, and daughter Kalea, 9.
