Cardi B took to social media to clarify her stance, stating, "I did not get paid a dollar for this... I actually been talking about these topics for the past couple years FOR FREE on ALL my platforms!! Before I was a celebrity I was a product of poverty for 24 years so you not gonna tell me what I want to see in MY community."

During her speech at the rally, Cardi B passionately criticized former President Donald Trump, accusing him and his followers of undermining women's rights.

She emphasized that "protection for women... isn't telling them what to do with their bodies," but rather supporting them in their choices regarding maternal and mental healthcare.
