China Urges Immediate Evacuation of Citizens from Israel as Tensions Escalate

China's embassy in Israel has issued an urgent advisory for its citizens to leave the country immediately due to escalating tensions between Israel and Lebanon's Hezbollah, which is backed by Iran.

The embassy emphasized the "highly tense situation" along the Israel-Lebanon border, marked by frequent military conflicts. Describing Israel's security environment as "severe, complex, and unpredictable," the advisory follows a recent Israeli airstrike that killed the head of Hezbollah's elite Radwan Force in southern Beirut.

This incident came on the heels of a series of blasts in Lebanon, attributed to Israel, which resulted in 39 deaths and nearly 3,000 injuries. Previously, China had also advised its citizens to leave Lebanon following another Israeli strike that killed a senior Palestinian militant.

The urging reflects growing regional instability and the potential risks for Chinese nationals in the area.
