Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca has emphasized that Cole Palmer cannot be expected to resolve all of the club's issues.
Speaking ahead of their Premier League match against Liverpool, Maresca stated, "If we think that Cole Palmer is going to solve all our problems, it’s a big mistake. We put all the pressure on his shoulders and that is wrong."
He highlighted the importance of contributions from other players in the squad, such as Noni Madueke, Pedro Neto, Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, and Enzo Fernández, noting that it's about the entire team, not just Palmer.
Chelsea currently sits fourth in the league standings, with Palmer playing a crucial role in their strong start by scoring six goals in seven games. Despite this, Maresca insists that the team must work collectively to improve and face the challenges of the season.
The Blues are preparing for a challenging run of fixtures, starting with a trip to Anfield to face Liverpool, followed by matches against Newcastle, Manchester United, and Arsenal.
