Sean Love Combs, widely known as Diddy, has officially listed his opulent Beverly Hills mansion for a staggering $61 million.

This decision comes amidst a tumultuous period for the music mogul, who is currently embroiled in multiple civil lawsuits and federal investigations.

Combs, born on November 4, 1969, has had a prolific career as a rapper, record producer, and record executive. He is credited with discovering and nurturing talents like the Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, and Usher. However, his illustrious career has recently been overshadowed by serious allegations.
In March, federal agents raided Combs' properties in Los Angeles and Miami, searching for evidence related to accusations of sexual assault, trafficking, and other illegal activities. These raids were part of an ongoing investigation following five civil lawsuits against him.
Despite these legal challenges, sources close to Combs assert that the sale of his 10-bedroom, 13-bath estate "has nothing to do with any civil litigation or investigation."
The mansion, which Combs purchased for $40 million in 2014, has been a major part of his real estate portfolio. However, the reasons behind its sale are multifaceted.
According to reports, Homeland Security's raid in March left the property with "significant property damage" as agents tore out electronics and other items. Additionally, Combs has expressed a desire to leave Los Angeles, stating he will not be looking for another place to reside in the city.
Further complicating matters, Combs has faced a slew of allegations from various individuals, including his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, who accused him of rape and decades-long abuse.
Although they settled the suit just one day after it was filed, at least six more people have come forward with similar accusations. A video released in May corroborated some of Cassie's claims, showing Combs attacking her in 2016. Despite issuing an apology, Cassie's legal team criticized his attempt to save face as "pathetic."
