President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria in a recent cabinet shake-up dismissed five ministers, including Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, the former Minister of Women Affairs.

Despite her removal from office, Kennedy-Ohanenye has publicly declared her unwavering support for President Tinubu and his administration.

On October 26, 2024, she took to her official social media account to express her commitment to Tinubu's 'Renewed Hope Agenda,' urging Nigerians to remain optimistic about the country's future.

She stated, "This is a test of time, a highly spiritual movement that no human being can stop. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is destined to fix Nigeria and I, Barr Uju Kennedy will fight alongside him to the last. Let’s be optimistic Nigeria will be great!"

Her statement reflects a strong allegiance to the president, despite the recent changes in the ministerial lineup. The reshuffle also saw the appointment of seven new ministers, pending Senate confirmation, as part of Tinubu's efforts to enhance the efficiency of his administration.
