Drake Threatens TO Rekindle Kendrick Lamar Beef with Taunting New Songs

Drake has recently released three new tracks, "SOD," "Circadian Rhythm," and "No Face," featuring Playboi Carti, on his burner Instagram account.

These songs, particularly "No Face" and "Circadian Rhythm," have generated massive buzz due to their lyrics, which seem to target Kendrick Lamar and other rappers involved in past feuds with Drake from April and May.

In "No Face," Drake raps, “N-ggas got lit off the features I skated on / I gotta know, I gotta know / How you get lit off the n-gga you hatin’ on? / Numbers untouchable, they got the data wrong,” appearing to reference his guest verses for artists like A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, and Future while casting doubt on Kendrick's streaming records with "Not Like Us."

He continues, “This is the moment I know they been prayin’ on / What? Aye, what? Aye / Try knock The Boy off, but fuck it, I’m stayin’ on / O’ keep on sendin’ me slaps to go crazy on / 40 keep sayin’ it’s time to be patient / It’s so many people we turnin’ the tables on.”

Drake's second verse further intensifies the taunts: “My therapist put in a 30-day notice / ‘Cause I keep on talkin’ ’bout beefin’ and business and money and women / It’s no diagnosis, they emptied the clip,” clearly adopting Kendrick Lamar’s cadence with the last line.

"Circadian Rhythm" also continues the Kendrick taunts, with its title seemingly referencing a line from Kendrick's diss track "6:16 in LA," where he rapped: “I know this type of power is gon’ cost / But I live in circadian rhythms of a shooting star.”

Drake even dubbed the song “The Language 2,” implying it’s a sequel to his 2013 track "The Language," which was a subliminal response to Kendrick’s earth-shaking "Control" verse.
