The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, has ordered an immediate investigation into serious bribery allegations involving Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky.

The allegations surfaced in a viral video posted by Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan. In this video, Bobrisky claimed that some unnamed EFCC officers had accepted N15 million from him to drop money laundering charges.

In response to these allegations, Olukoyede has constituted a team of investigators to delve into the matter. According to a statement signed by the EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, "To this end, the Commission hereby invites both Okuneye and Otse to make themselves available at its Lagos directorate to assist investigators unearth the alleged bribery." The EFCC has assured the public that the investigation will be thorough and that the findings will be made public.
