Tech mogul no has sparked widespread outrage with his recent comments questioning why there have been no assassination attempts on U.S.
President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
This comes in the wake of a second attempt on former President Donald Trump's life. On September 15, 2024, shots were fired near Trump’s Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The U.S. Secret Service responded swiftly, neutralizing the threat and recovering an AK-style firearm at the scene. Fortunately, Trump was unharmed. This incident follows a previous attempt in July 2024, where shots were fired at an election rally, raising serious concerns about political violence as the 2024 U.S. elections approach.
Musk, a known supporter of Trump, took to his social media platform X to express his bewilderment at the lack of similar attacks on Biden and Harris. "And no one is even trying to assassinate Biden/Kamala," Musk wrote, igniting a firestorm of criticism. Supporters of Biden and Harris accused Musk of inciting violence.

Vice President Kamala Harris, who is the Democratic Party’s nominee for the 2024 election, condemned the violence in a post on X, stating, "Violence has no place in America." She expressed relief that Trump was unharmed and called for unity.
President Joe Biden, who stepped back from the 2024 race after a challenging debate with Trump, echoed similar sentiments. "There is no place for political violence or any violence ever in our country," Biden wrote on X, commending federal law enforcement and the Secret Service for their swift action.
