TV host Rufai Oseni has criticised President Bola Tinubu's recent speech to the country and demanded a more thorough and open discussion.
Following Tinubu's speech on Sunday, which aimed to address the ongoing national protests against economic hardship, Oseni took to social media to express his dissatisfaction.
"President Tinubu should stop giving us speeches. We want an hour-long interview," Oseni tweeted, reflecting the sentiments of many Nigerians who feel that brief addresses are insufficient in tackling the country's pressing issues.

The protests, which have been ongoing for three days, were sparked by widespread discontent over economic conditions.
In his address, President Tinubu acknowledged the hardships faced by Nigerians and promised a better future. However, this did little to quell the unrest, as many citizens demand more concrete actions and detailed plans from their leader.
Oseni's call for an extended interview shows the public's desire for greater accountability and transparency from the government.
"We need to hear more than just promises; we need detailed explanations and actionable plans," he added in another tweet.

The situation remains tense as the nation awaits further developments. The protests have seen significant participation across various states, with citizens voicing their frustrations over economic policies and governance.
