EPL: Arteta Revealed Saka Will be Gone For Two Months

Manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that star winger Bukayo Saka will be out of action for at least two months.

The announcement comes after Saka sustained a torn right hamstring during Arsenal's emphatic 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace last weekend.

Arteta, speaking to reporters following Arsenal's narrow 1-0 win against Ipswich Town, provided an update on Saka's condition."Bukayo Saka will be out for many, many weeks… probably more than two months," Arteta stated.

He further explained that Saka has already undergone surgery and emphasized that the recovery timeline will depend on "how the scar tissue starts to heal, the mobility of that."

The injury and subsequent surgery mean that Saka is expected to be sidelined until at least March, posing a challenge for Arsenal as they continue their pursuit of the Premier League title.

Arteta acknowledged the impact of Saka's absence on the team's dynamics and discussed potential replacements within the squad to maintain their competitive edge.

Despite the setback, Arsenal's recent performance against Ipswich Town highlights their resilience and adaptability in the face of adversity.

As the team navigates these challenges, Arteta remains focused on strategic adjustments to keep Arsenal in contention for the championship.
