The current head coach of Serie A club Como, Cesc Fabregas has openly acknowledged Pep Guardiola as the manager who had the most major impact on his playing career.
In an interview with ESPN, Fabregas expressed that while he learned patience from Arsène Wenger and bravery from José Mourinho, it was Guardiola's tactical acumen that left a lasting impression on him.

Reflecting on his time under Guardiola during the 2011/2012 season at Barcelona, Fabregas stated, "I think, tactically, Pep is the one that I learned the most from. He always studied the opponent. He always knew exactly what they could do and he could give you solutions."
This insight into Guardiola's meticulous approach to understanding opponents and providing strategic solutions is something Fabregas now strives to impart to his own players at Como.
Despite having played eight seasons under Wenger at Arsenal and winning his first Premier League title with Mourinho at Chelsea in the 2014-2015 campaign, Fabregas credits Guardiola with shaping his understanding of the game in profound ways.
