The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike has reiterated his steadfast commitment to supporting the judiciary, despite facing criticisms.

Speaking at the inauguration of the design and construction of the Body of Benchers of Nigeria's office annexe in Abuja, Wike emphasized the importance of collaboration among the judiciary, executive, and legislative branches of government.

Wike assured attendees that the FCT's supplementary budget has allocated funds for the construction of the new office complex, highlighting the financial backing secured for this significant project.

"Criticisms will not deter me from supporting the judiciary," Wike declared, underscoring his dedication to enhancing judicial infrastructure.

The minister also expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for his unwavering support of the FCT Administration.

In response to a request for additional facilities, Wike pledged to include the establishment of a fire service station within the Body of Benchers complex in the FCT’s 2025 budget.

"You can take it for granted; by 2025, we are going to establish a fire service station within this complex," he assured, promising to make a noticeable difference in governance.
