Former Danity Kane singer, Dawn Richard, has filed a lawsuit against hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, alleging sexual abuse and various forms of mistreatment.

The lawsuit, which adds to a series of legal troubles for Diddy, paints a disturbing picture of the music executive's behavior.
Richard, who rose to fame as a contestant on Diddy's MTV show "Making the Band" in 2004, claims she endured verbal abuse and witnessed Diddy physically assault his ex-partners.
According to court documents, Diddy allegedly called contestants “fat,” “ugly,” “bitches,” and “hoes.” The "Show Stopper" singer, now 41, alleges that in 2005, she saw Diddy's ex, Kim Porter, leaving a studio with apparent bruises on her face. Four years later, Richard claims she witnessed Diddy, who was allegedly “high on drugs,” throw Cassie Ventura against a wall, choke her, and drag her up a flight of stairs in his Los Angeles home.
In one particularly harrowing incident, Richard alleges she saw Diddy throw a “scalding” pan of eggs at Ventura while yelling, “I’ve been asking you for my s–t; I can’t stand you bitch, you never do it right!” She also claims to have seen Diddy punch Ventura in the face and attempt to strangle her with his bare hands. Richard further alleges that between 2009 and 2011, Diddy sexually assaulted her numerous times by touching her near her breasts and buttocks while she was undressed in a changing room.
“Mr. Combs frequently smacked Ms. Richard’s bare buttocks and often commented on her body, noting that although she was ‘too skinny,’ she had an ‘ass,’” the lawsuit reads.
The lawsuit also details an incident where Richard claims she saw Diddy and several other men gang-rape his former female assistant at a hotel pool in Glasgow.
Additionally, she alleges that Diddy forced her to rehearse for 48 hours without sleep, causing severe dehydration and rashes. Richard is seeking compensatory damages for mental pain, emotional distress, and attorneys' fees.
This lawsuit is part of a broader pattern of allegations against Diddy, who has denied all accusations. He recently settled a rape and abuse lawsuit filed by Ventura just one day after she filed it in November 2023.
