Fuji music sensation Abass Akande, popularly known as Obesere, has narrowly escaped death following a critical surgery.

In his heartfelt post, Obesere wrote, “The Almighty Allah has been merciful to me. I escaped a surgery that almost took my life but Allah said NO!” This revelation has since triggered an outpouring of warm wishes and prayers from fans across the globe, who are relieved to hear of his recovery.

Obesere's recent health scare adds to a series of personal challenges he has faced over the years. Notably, he was previously embroiled in a rape scandal, from which he was declared not guilty.

Additionally, a prophet had ominously predicted his death along with other Nollywood stars, including fellow musicians Pasuma and Osupa, highlighting ongoing health concerns within the Nigerian entertainment industry.
