Gambian Businessman Dies in Car Crash En Route to Weekend Getaway with Senegalese Mistress

A Gambian businessman tragically lost his life in a car accident near Ziguinchor, in the Casamance region. The man was driving his Senegalese mistress and her friend to The Gambia for a weekend trip when the fatal accident occurred.

According to reports from Senegalese media, local police and emergency services responded to the scene, treating the two women for minor injuries and transporting them to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, the businessman succumbed to severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities believe that speeding may have been a factor in the accident. The deceased's identity has not been disclosed, but he was described as a businessman who frequently traveled between Guinea-Bissau, Casamance, and The Gambia.
