Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila recently assured Nigerians that they will soon witness the positive outcomes of President Tinubu's efforts over the past 17 months.
Speaking on Saturday, October 19, 2024, Gbajabiamila emphasized that a "well-rested" Tinubu is ready to steer the country towards progress. He made these remarks following the President's return to Abuja after a two-week working leave in the United Kingdom and France.

Gbajabiamila likened Tinubu to a "captain of the plane," stating that he is working to achieve a "cruising altitude" for Nigeria. He expressed optimism that Nigerians will soon begin to see the benefits of the President's labor, urging citizens to remain expectant and hopeful.
The President's A330 jet landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at approximately 7:20 pm on Saturday, where he was welcomed by several senior government officials, including the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mr. Nyesom Wike, and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume.
During his leave, which began on October 2, 2024, Tinubu engaged in a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.
His Senior Special Assistant on Political and Other Matters, Ibrahim Masari, noted that Tinubu also traveled to Paris for an important engagement. Gbajabiamila highlighted that the President needed rest due to the demanding nature of his work over the last year and a half, but assured that Tinubu is now rejuvenated and ready to continue his duties.
