Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson has revealed during an appearance on "The Breakfast Club" that he turned down a $3 million offer from Donald Trump and the Republican Party to perform at a rally held at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The rapper and TV mogul explained his decision by stating, "I’m afraid of politics, so you understand? I do not like no part of politics." He emphasized his desire to avoid involvement in political and religious discussions, citing them as sources of confusion and controversy.
This stance was further illustrated when he humorously referenced Kanye West's experiences, saying, "That’s the formula for the confusion that sent Kanye to Japan."
50 Cent also mentioned that he had been asked to perform his song "Many Men (Wish Death)" at the Republican National Convention earlier that summer, an invitation he similarly turned down. Despite the lucrative offer, 50 Cent chose to steer clear of any endorsements, maintaining his distance from political affiliations.
During the interview, the hosts jokingly suggested he greet Vice President Kamala Harris, prompting him to rise in mock outrage, questioning, "Why you guys put me into this stuff! I thought we was cool? What you doing man?" before embracing the hosts amid laughter.
