Pastor Jerry Eze, the founder of Streams of Joy International, has clarified the origins of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD) during a live video session with gospel artist Nathaniel Bassey.

Contrary to popular belief, Pastor Eze disclosed that he did not start NSPPD himself. Instead, it was his wife, Eno Jerry, who played a pivotal role in its inception.

Pastor Eze recounted, "God spoke to me and said to me ‘start an online prayer platform’. I called my wife and I told my wife to start an online prayer platform. My wife started an online prayer platform before the pandemic."

This statement signifies the major contribution of Eno Jerry in establishing the NSPPD, which has since grown into a widely recognized online prayer meeting platform.

At 41 years old, Pastor Eze commands a substantial following both online and offline. His recent crusade in the United Kingdom, which drew mixed reactions, highlights the international reach and impact of his ministry.

Pastor Eze's church, headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria, continues to be a central hub for his religious activities. The NSPPD, initiated by his wife under divine instruction, has become a cornerstone of their ministry, especially notable for its establishment prior to the global pandemic.
