Portugal's football legend Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his satisfaction with his illustrious career, emphasizing that he does not need to win the World Cup to feel fulfilled.

The 39-year-old made these remarks after scoring his 900th career goal in a 2-1 victory over Croatia in the UEFA Nations League.

Reflecting on his achievements, Ronaldo said, "Portugal winning Euros is equivalent to winning a World Cup. I’ve already won two trophies for Portugal that I really wanted. I’m not motivated by that. I’m motivated by enjoying football and the records come naturally."

Ronaldo's comments came after he volleyed in a second goal following Diogo Dalot's opener, securing the win for Portugal. His statements underline his contentment with having led Portugal to significant victories, including the UEFA European Championship and the UEFA Nations League.

The football icon also hinted at future possibilities within the sport, including a potential return to the Champions League and his thoughts on possibly becoming a manager, although he admitted, "It will be difficult for me to become a manager."
