ThankGod Omori Jesam, popularly known as TG Omori or Boy Director, is a renowned Nigerian music video director and cinematographer born on June 8, 1995. Recently, TG Omori has been in the spotlight not for his creative works but due to his health struggles.

In August 2024, he revealed that he had undergone a kidney transplant at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos after his only brother donated one of his kidneys. Unfortunately, the surgery faced complications and had to be repeated three times.

Despite these challenges, TG Omori remains optimistic about his recovery. On August 27, 2024, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the failure of his kidney transplant and requested prayers and support from his fans. He assured them that he would make a comeback in 2025, stating, "Pain has no power over me. Hope these designers cover these scars. I’ll be back in 2025. Stay in love."

TG Omori's resilience and determination have inspired many within the entertainment industry and beyond. His message, "It’s mind over matter. If the mind is defeated, it’s just a matter of time before the body falls," resonates deeply with his followers, who have shown unwavering support during this challenging period.

The news of his health condition has sparked widespread concern and speculation, particularly regarding the potential causes of his kidney failure. Some social media influencers have attributed it to his alleged excessive smoking habit. However, medical experts caution against jumping to conclusions, emphasizing that while smoking is harmful, it is not the sole cause of kidney failure.
