Controversial cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has made headlines once again with his bold statements following his release from prison.
Bobrisky was sentenced to six months imprisonment on April 12, 2024, by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos for naira mutilation. He served his sentence at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre and was released on August 5, 2024.
In a recent interview with content creator Bae U Barbie, Bobrisky declared, "I am still going to spray money, but I will only spray dollars, not naira."

He emphasized that he does not consider himself an ex-convict because spraying money is not a crime. "I am not an ex-convict because I cannot be convicted for spraying money," he stated.
Bobrisky's time in prison was described by him as a "vacation" where he had the opportunity to rest. He humorously remarked, "To me, I see it as a vacation. Vacation to go and rest. I have been working so hard. So their decision was okay for me."
Despite his incarceration, Bobrisky remains unapologetic and defiant. He recounted his experience at the male correctional centre, where he was treated specially by fellow inmates.
"I was at the male correctional centre, and I loved it. If they had given me the female correctional centre, I would not have fun. I would not enjoy myself," he said.
Bobrisky also addressed the reason behind his guilty plea, explaining that he admitted guilt because he was the one shown in the video evidence presented in court.
"If I had told the judge I was not guilty, she would give me bail, and I would go to my house. I told the judge I was guilty because I was the one showing on the video," he explained.
