Bayer Leverkusen forward, Victor Boniface, has issued a stern warning to his social media followers following a hefty fine and match ban.
The Nigerian footballer was handed a one-match suspension and fined €25,000 (approximately N44 million) for unsportsmanlike conduct during the recent Super Cup match against VfB Stuttgart.
The German Football Association (DFB) confirmed the disciplinary action on Wednesday, August 23, 2024.
Boniface was penalized for making an obscene gesture raising his middle finger towards Stuttgart players during post-match celebrations.
In response to the ruling, Boniface took to social media to express his frustration and caution his followers. "If you bill me for the next three months, I fit block you.
Let’s all be guided," he wrote, making it clear that he would not entertain any financial demands from fans during this period.
