Iran resumed flights at its airports on Thursday following a temporary suspension that was implemented after a missile attack on Israel. This incident marked Iran's second direct assault on Israel since April, with the Islamic Republic launching 200 missiles on October 1.

As a precautionary measure, all domestic and international flights were grounded until 05:00 am (0130 GMT) on October 3. Jafar Yazarloo, the spokesman for Iran's Civil Aviation Organisation, confirmed the resumption of flights, stating that "after ensuring favourable and safe flight conditions and ending of the restrictions, airlines are allowed to carry out flight operations," as reported by the official IRNA news agency.
The European Union Aviation Safety Agency responded to the heightened tensions by advising European airlines to avoid Iranian airspace until at least October 31, with the situation under ongoing review. Similar warnings were issued over the weekend concerning the airspace of Israel and Lebanon.
This development shows the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, raising broader regional security concerns that impact international aviation and diplomatic relations. The resumption of flights signifies a return to normalcy in air travel within Iran, albeit under the shadow of potential retaliatory actions and continued geopolitical instability.
