Chidimma Adetshina, a former contestant in the Miss South Africa pageant, revealed her reluctance to return to South Africa following a series of controversies.
The embattled beauty queen, who faced severe criticism and allegations of fraud and identity theft involving her mother, has found solace and new opportunities in Nigeria.
Adetshina, who withdrew from the Miss South Africa competition due to the scandal, has since been invited to participate in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant.
Speaking with Cool FM Nigeria, she expressed her joy and relief at being back in her father's homeland. "I think it’s safe to say I’m not going back," she stated. "It’s been amazing. I’m not even looking forward to going back to South Africa. I just want to explore more. I want to stay longer and see what happens next."
