Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo, the immediate dissolution of all boards of agencies and parastatals.

This decision was communicated through a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Hon Fred Itua.

The governor's directive involves the dismissal of non-civil service appointees, with instructions for these individuals to hand over all government properties to the most senior public servants within their respective ministries, departments, and agencies.

"All affected appointees are to handover all government properties in their possession," the statement emphasized, marking a clear mandate for compliance.

Furthermore, the governor ordered the removal of permanent secretaries who were appointed from outside the state's public or civil service, alongside all political appointees.

This sweeping action shows a commitment to streamline operations and potentially refocus governance efforts within the state.
