International pop star Justin Timberlake appeared at the Sag Harbor courthouse in New York to plead guilty to driving while impaired.

The singer-songwriter, known for his hits and charismatic stage presence, was visibly somber as he addressed the media outside the courthouse.

Timberlake expressed deep regret for his actions, urging others not to drive after consuming alcohol, even minimally. "I could've made a different, more responsible decision, but I did not," he admitted. "Don't get behind the wheel of a car, even if you only have one drink."

The court proceedings revealed that Timberlake's plea deal included 25 hours of community service to be completed within a year, a fine up to $500, and a 90-day suspension of his New York State driver's license.

His lawyer, Ed Burke Jr., accompanied him during the hearing. Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney commended Timberlake for accepting responsibility and using his public platform to raise awareness about the dangers of drunk driving. "We appreciate Justin Timberlake's willingness to accept responsibility for his actions and to use his platform to increase public awareness of drunk driving," Tierney stated.

Timberlake's commitment to promoting public safety was evident as he thanked everyone involved in the process, from the residents of Sag Harbor to the police officers. "I'm going to do my part to end drunk driving, and I hope everyone else can do the same," he said.
