The National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) has appointed Mr. Kamoru Ogunalana as the new Clerk to the National Assembly.
This appointment comes in the wake of the retirement of the former Clerk, Sani Magaji Tambuwal, and is set to take effect on January 2, 2025.
The decision was finalized during the NASC's 610th meeting, held on November 6, 2024. The announcement was made public by Emmanuel Onyigor, the Deputy Director of Information at the Commission.
The official appointment letter, signed by the NASC Chairman, Engr Ahmed Kadi, emphasized Ogunalana's "hard work and administrative competence," urging him to "work hard to justify the confidence reposed in him."
