The Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf, presided over the clause-by-clause consideration of the bill during the committee of supply session. He announced that the bill authorized a recurrent expenditure of over N281,153,215,687 billion Naira, while the capital expenditure was set at over N301,280,903,802 billion Naira.
These allocations are designed to address the diverse needs of the state's Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), ensuring that each sector receives adequate funding to fulfill its responsibilities effectively.
Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo had initially presented the appropriation bill on December 3, 2024, emphasizing its focus on social protection interventions, rural infrastructure development, and agricultural advancements.
