Formula One racing star Lewis Hamilton has distanced himself from the disgraced rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs by deleting a social media post that once referred to Combs as a "brother" and expressed gratitude for "always showing love." This decision comes in the wake of Combs' recent arrest on serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering.

The allegations against Combs are grave, with accusations of drugging and raping victims, some as young as nine, dating back to 2008. Despite pleading not guilty, the charges have led to a widespread disassociation from Combs by many of his former associates.

Hamilton's deleted post, originally shared in 2018, highlighted the close bond he once shared with Combs. In it, Hamilton wrote, "I grew up watching and listening to my man Puff. To stand here today as brothers is an honour and a privilege. I appreciate you bro for all you do, for being a GOAT and for always showing love. God bless." However, as the legal troubles surrounding Combs intensified, Hamilton chose to erase any public association with the music mogul.

The decision to delete the post reflects a broader trend among celebrities and public figures who are severing ties with Combs amid the scandal. The case has drawn massive media attention, with federal agents uncovering disturbing evidence during raids on Combs' residences, including unmarked weapons and materials linked to his alleged sex parties.

As the situation unfolds, Hamilton has maintained silence on the matter, opting instead to quietly remove traces of his past friendship with Combs from his social media platforms.
