Man Utd Accept €30m Offer to Sell McTominay

Esther

Multiple reports on Sunday confirmed that Manchester United have agreed to a €30 million (£25.4 million) deal with Napoli for the transfer of Scottish midfielder Scott McTominay.

The agreement includes a major sell-on clause, ensuring that United will receive a share of any future sale from the Italian side.

The deal is subject to McTominay agreeing to personal terms with Napoli. If finalized, this transfer will facilitate United's pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte, as manager Erik ten Hag aims to bolster his midfield options.

McTominay, who has been with Manchester United since his youth, made his debut under José Mourinho in May 2017 and has since made 255 appearances, scoring eight goals.

The 27-year-old has won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup and was named the Scottish Football Writers’ Association men’s international player of the year.

Napoli's interest in McTominay is part of a broader strategy, which also includes a potential move for Brighton’s Billy Gilmour. However, Napoli may need to offload some players to complete both deals.
