Manchester City has condemned the racist abuse directed at their captain, Kyle Walker, following their recent UEFA Champions League match against Juventus.

The game, which ended in a 2-0 defeat for Manchester City, saw goals from Dusan Vlahovic and Weston McKennie securing victory for the Italian side.

However, the post-match narrative was overshadowed by the appalling racist comments aimed at Walker online.

"Manchester City strongly condemns the racist abuse that Kyle Walker was subject to online following last night’s fixture," the club declared. "We refuse to tolerate discrimination of any kind, regardless of whether that be in stadiums or online."

The club emphasized its commitment to supporting Walker fully, stating, "We will be offering Kyle our full support following the disgusting treatment he has received."
