Manchester United has officially completed refurbishment of the players' tunnel at Old Trafford, just in time for the upcoming 2024/25 season.
This revamp is part of a broader effort to enhance both the on-field and off-field experience for players and fans alike.
The newly redesigned tunnel now features the club's iconic colors, black and red and is adorned with LED lights that create a modern and vibrant atmosphere. The ceiling proudly displays the club's crest, while the walls are decorated with the silhouette of the Red Devils on one side and the word 'UNITED' on the other.
This transformation aims to inspire and motivate Manchester United's men's, women's and Academy players as they prepare for matchdays.
In addition to these aesthetic upgrades, the tunnel will also house plaques commemorating former club president John Henry Davis and former owner James W. Gibson. These plaques have been given new homes within the tunnel, ensuring that their contributions to the club's rich history are honored and remembered.
Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has emphasized the importance of this project, stating, "The future of Old Trafford is high on our agenda. This refurbishment is just the beginning of our plans to either rebuild or significantly upgrade the stadium."
