Popular Nigerian comedian and content creator Mark Angel has finally addressed the accusations made by his former co-creator, Denilson Igwe.
The interview sheds light on the strained relationship between the two creative partners.
Denilson Igwe had recently aired his grievances publicly, criticizing Angel for treating him poorly during their collaboration. Igwe claimed that Angel referred to him as a "houseboy" and failed to share revenue fairly. He lamented, "He (Mark Angel) said I was no longer his brother, but a houseboy, and that was what I would remain."
Despite the public outcry and pressure from various quarters, Mark Angel chose to remain silent on the matter until now.
In his interview, Angel explained his decision to stay quiet, stating, "I don’t want to talk about anything that has to do with Denilson. It is not important."
