Mohbad's Mother Accuses Wunmi of Betrayal and Hoarding Late Singer’s Belongings

The late Nigerian artist Mohbad's mother, Ilerioluwa Aloba, has accused his widow, Wunmi, of treachery and dishonesty in a trending audio talk.

The grieving mother, Abosede, expressed her profound sadness and disappointment, alleging that Wunmi secretly took all of Mohbad’s personal belongings from his house without informing her or Mohbad’s younger brother.

Abosede, who had supported Wunmi through the difficult period following Mohbad’s death, felt deeply hurt by what she described as a blatant breach of trust. She said, “Wunmi has betrayed me, after I stood by her all this while. She went behind my back and parked all Mohbad’s belongings from his house without telling anybody including me and Mohbad’s kid brother. After I confronted her about it, she started raining abuses on me.”

The emotional outburst was shared during a TikTok live program, where Abosede detailed how Wunmi allegedly lied against her, claiming she was trying to inherit her son’s possessions. Abosede lamented that despite standing by Wunmi with sincerity, she now faces curses and accusations from those who believe she wanted to take over Mohbad’s properties.
