A mother was arrested and handcuffed at Disneyland after trying to sneak her children into the park without paying. The incident, which took place on September 24, 2024, at Disney California Adventure, has since gone viral on TikTok.
The video shows the unidentified woman, a 26-year-old annual passholder from Torrance, being escorted out of the park by Anaheim police officers while her two young daughters clung to her, crying and shouting "Help me!" in Spanish.
According to Disneyland officials, the woman had previously tried to bring her children into the park without purchasing tickets. On this occasion, she attempted to pass her kids off as toddlers to avoid paying the admission fee.
Disneyland security confronted her, but she was uncooperative, prompting them to call the Anaheim Police Department. The police arrested her for trespassing but later released her with a citation.
The dramatic scene unfolded near the Jumpin’ Jellyfish ride in the Paradise Gardens area of the park. Witnesses heard the woman cursing and shouting, “You’re f–king hurting me!” as she was led away in handcuffs.
Another officer was seen pushing a double stroller behind them. The video, captioned “Getting arrested at the happiest place on earth,” has garnered nearly 400,000 views.
Disneyland's policy allows children under the age of three to enter the park for free when accompanied by a paying adult. However, the woman refused an offer from Disneyland to purchase tickets for her children and remain in the park. This incident is not isolated; similar attempts to sneak children into the park have been reported in the past.
