This occurred just 30 minutes after he came off the bench in Al-Hilal’s AFC Champions League victory against Esteghlal.

Neymar took to Instagram to address his fans, expressing hope that the injury is not severe. He acknowledged the inherent risks associated with returning to high-level competition after such a prolonged absence. "Hopefully nothing too much… It’s normal that after one year [out] this happens; the doctors had already warned me, so I have to be careful and play more minutes," Neymar stated, highlighting the cautious approach advised by his medical team.
