These speculations originated from an unverified Twitter account, @NMCaviar, which falsely claimed that Minaj was embarking on a sabbatical.

In response to these unfounded reports, Minaj took to social media to clarify her stance, stating unequivocally, "Ain’t going no mthfkn where. Kiss my a** and hiatus."

This isn't the first time Minaj's career plans have been a topic of public interest. Back in December 2019, she announced her retirement from music to focus on family life following her marriage to Kenneth Petty. She welcomed her son on September 30, 2020, and subsequently returned to the music scene, much to the delight of her fans.
