Nicki Minaj has recently voiced her frustration with rappers who have chosen to bypass her label, Heavy On It, in favor of signing with white-owned record companies.

This criticism was made public during a livestream on the app StationHead, where Minaj expressed her discontent with artists who reject her label only to later collaborate with these entities.

She stated, “A muthafucka will tell somebody they don’t really want to sign with Heavy On It, but then they’ll go and sign with the white peoples.

And guess who the white peoples finna call?” She further added that these artists always ensure they get the attention of her fanbase, the Barbz.

Minaj launched Heavy On It in March 2024, bringing on board talents such as London Hill, Tate Kobang, Rico Danna, and Ghanaian singer-songwriter Nana Fofie.

Despite her initial declaration that the deluxe edition of her album "Pink Friday 2" would exclusively feature artists signed to her label, she has recently previewed collaborations with Drake and the late Juice WRLD.

This move appears to contradict her earlier stance, highlighting the complexities and perhaps the challenges she faces in maintaining her label's exclusivity.

Moreover, Minaj hinted at a potential posthumous collaboration with Juice WRLD on the deluxe edition of "Pink Friday 2."

She shared her thoughts on this matter during an Instagram Live session, saying, “So, the question is do you guys think I should put the Juice WRLD song on the deluxe? It would be incredible for me I think to have Juice WRLD on this album. Because before he passed, that’s what we were talking about.

He recorded a bunch of stuff when he was in my studio but I don’t like to exploit people and people’s deaths and stuff like that.
