Munachimso Brian Nwana, a 22-year-old content creator and food consultant from Nigeria, has set a new Guinness World Record by visiting 150 fast-food restaurants in just 24 hours.

This remarkable feat was accomplished on foot in Abuja, Nigeria's capital city, making it even more challenging due to the city's sparse restaurant clusters and limited public transportation options compared to previous record-setting locations like New York City.

Brian began his journey at Chicken Republic in Gwarinpa and concluded at Kilimanjaro in the city center, covering over 25 kilometers (15 miles) on foot.
He adhered strictly to the guidelines, which required him to purchase and consume at least one meal or drink at each establishment, with a minimum of 75% of the orders being food.
Despite the daunting task, Brian managed to complete his mission within the stipulated time frame, taking a nine-hour break between midnight and 9 a.m. for rest.

The previous record of 100 restaurants was held by American YouTuber Airrack, who set it in New York City last year. Before Airrack, TikTok stars Nick DiGiovanni and the late Lynn "Lynja" Davis held the record.
Brian's achievement not only surpassed these records but also highlighted the vibrant and diverse food culture in Nigeria. He sampled a variety of cuisines, including shawarma, pizza, fried chicken, and burgers, but his favorite meals were traditional Nigerian delicacies like moin moin (bean pudding) and àmàlà.

Brian's motivation for breaking this record was to showcase the richness of Nigerian cuisine and encourage people worldwide to explore the country's food scene.
He stated, "This record goes to show that the Nigerian food space is worth paying attention to. I would like to encourage people from around the world to come and explore the Nigerian food space."
