Nigeria's Vice President Kashim Shettima embarked on a pivotal visit to the headquarters of Scania, a renowned leader in transport solutions, located in Södertälje, Sweden.
This strategic engagement was aimed at exploring sustainable transport solutions that could be implemented in Nigeria, a country facing significant transportation challenges.
During his visit, Vice President Shettima engaged in discussions with Fredrik Wijkander, Scania's Head of Sales for Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
The focus of these discussions was on leveraging innovative heavy-duty trucks and buses to modernize Nigeria's transport infrastructure. "The company's expertise is expected to play a crucial role in modernising Nigeria’s transport infrastructure," Shettima noted, emphasizing the importance of this collaboration.
