National Security Adviser (NSA) Nuhu Ribadu has reassured Nigerians and the international community that the Federal Government is actively working to end insecurity across the nation. Speaking during his visit to Damaturu, Yobe State, Ribadu praised the armed forces and security agencies for their significant efforts and sacrifices, which have led to notable improvements in national security.

"The Federal Government is working around the clock to end insecurity, and it is only a matter of time before the entire country is secured," Ribadu stated. His comments came while he was commiserating with the people of Yobe following a recent insurgency attack in one of its communities.

Ribadu's visit underscores the government's commitment to restoring peace and stability in Nigeria. He highlighted ongoing actions and the progress already achieved by security forces, emphasizing that the government is tirelessly addressing security challenges.

Also speaking during the visit, the Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, expressed his condolences to those who lost their lives and property in the attack, praying that such situations would not recur. Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State thanked the delegation, noting that their visit gave the people of Yobe a sense of belonging. He urged Nigerians to continue praying for the success of President Bola Tinubu, saying, "his success is the nation’s success."

This focused governmental initiative aims to resolve insecurity and support affected communities, signaling a hopeful future for Nigeria's security landscape.
